Forum rules

The following rules should be adheared to by all users of phpbbmodders.net. This is to keep a friendly and welcoming community atmosphere regardless of age, sex and nationality. If any problems arise, don’t hesitate to contact one of our team members.

  1. General

    1. This is an English speaking community, so please only use english.
    2. Do not spam, post images, links, or advertise in the shoutbox. You will be warned and your post deleted.
    3. Do not advertise anywhere outside the appropiate forum and your profile/signature. You may not post personal links(e.g. Outwar) or links to sites that contain anything harmful like, but not limited to, viruses, spyware, adware, etc. Users may be warned or even banned.
    4. Members are only allowed one account per user. Inactive accounts will be pruned every few months.
    5. Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". Please use the “report this post” feature to report posts and/or you may contact someone on the administrator/moderator team. .
  2. Posting

    1. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Members are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting in the wrong forum may be given a warning.
    2. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated outside the appropiate section and will lead to a warning.
    3. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic.
    4. Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance unless in appropiate section. Members who spam will have their post removed and will be warned.
  3. Private messaging

    1. Please do not harass or spam any other members through private messages, Doing so will lead to a warning.
    2. If a member consistantly abuses the private messaging system, then his permission to use it will be removed.
    3. All other general and posting rules, where applicable, also apply to private messaging.
  4. Images & profile information

    1. Signatures should be no larger than 500x200.
    2. Avatars should be no larger than 120x120. Anything bigger will autmatically be resized.
    3. Do not include any obscene/offensive matieral in your profile which includes your signature and avatar.
    4. Have a consistently high availability (i.e. links to images on slow servers or those prone to failure may be removed).
  5. Downloads

    1. Please use the “report this post” feature to report broken/dead links. Members may reply and notify others the link is dead until the topic can be binned.
    2. Members provide these downloads at their own time and expense. So please be respectful, patient and say thanks if you download something.
  6. Policing

    3. If you have any problems with a staff member, contact an administrator by private message.
